Last Day of the Year in the Mara

Sorry for the silence, we've been so busy recently that even the lions have been waiting for the next plane out of the Mara.

Holiday time is the busiest time of the year for us here, which forced us to bend employment laws slightly when we took on our latest recruit for our anti-animal harassment vehicles.

Although we're hoping things will quiet down now that the elephants are controlling traffic along the river road.

Happy New Year to you all. See you in 2009.

Thank you everyone! Hope your New Year Celebrations went well.

I'm sad to say that the young ranger was subsequently sacked - his work ethic wasn't as high as we hoped.
