CBS 60 Minutes: The Great Migration
Monday, October 5, 2009 at 12:51PM In August we were very pleased to welcome CBS who wanted to put together a feature on the Wildebeest Migration and the threats faced to the Migration, and the Mara as a whole, due to the ongoing destruction of the Mau Forest.

Thank you for this interesting piece of documentary. It's only recently that I have learned about the Mau Forest and the huge ecological impact that forest area has on areas as far as Mara. Something needs to be done and soon. Politicians have to act and take the responsibility for guarding the remaining forest area before it's too late.
Gosh dang it - the one night I didn't watch 60 minutes. I'll have to watch on my computer tonight at home.

the governnment should really find a better suited place for the people who now are living there and are chopping down all the life giving trees. i understand they need a place to live ; but not when they are destroying the forest which are vital to lives of humans, wildlife and the tourist industry.
