Many snares being collected at the moment.

The rangers from Iseiya HQ are at the moment on a 3 day anti-poaching and de-snaring patrol. With my team from Ngiro-are we have been patrolling the area around the border and have been collecting snares most days. Yesterday we collected 37 snares.

Rangers free a wildebeest caught in a snare.

On Thursday evening we also arrested one poacher who had been snaring wildebeest. He had on him 24 snares, one knife and one spear.

Writing down the poacher's information.

Joshua - Congratuations on collecting the snares and arresting at least one poacher! Looks like the wildebeest is a young one - it's Mother is probably long gone and the chances of this one surviving on its own probably seems slim--sad.

Keep up the hard work guys!!

Thank you Dana.

The wildebeest is young, but he should be able to find the herd as they weren't too far away.
