Camping in the Mara Triangle

Everybody is welcome to camp at either our public or private campsites, with no prior booking  for our public campsites, and for our private campsites you are able to make your reservation through the booking form on this page. Please note that none of our campsites are fenced.

We insist that campers hire two rangers for night-time security. Please note that food and accommodation is not needed for the rangers, and the Mara Conservancy will transport the rangers to and from your campsite.

Public Campsites

There are three public campsites; Oloololo Campsite at the gate, Iseiya Campsite near our main station, and also Eluai Camp near the Mara Serena airstrip. Oloololo and Iseiya campsites have longdrop toilets, and there are showers at Oloololo (use responsibly). Otherwise, please bring your own water and carry all rubbish with you.

Private Campsites

There are five private campsites that can be exclusively yours to enjoy, located at stunning locations along the Mara River (map). Kiboko and Ndovu are slightly larger and ideal for professional tour operators.

Please bring your own water and carry all rubbish with you.

Check campsite availability and make your booking.
