We use photographs as evidence against poachers who have come into the reserve, and against cattle rustlers who have stolen cattle from communities bordering the Mara Triangle. Photographs also help when charging tour drivers who have broken park rules, making it easier to issue a fine and reduce animal harassment.
Rangers also take photographs of injured animals which can then be sent to the KWS vets so that they can assess how urgently treatment is needed.

Simon Matara
Matara is the Acting Foreman of the Mara Conservancy Road Teamm which maintains over 150km of roads and 500km of grass tracks within the Mara Triangle.

Wilson Naitoi
Naitoi works in Tourism and Anti-Animal Harassment. He advises visitors to keep a healthy distance from the animals, and also controls vehicles at points along the river to allow for wildebeest crossings. -
Joshua Naiguran
Naiguran is Acting Assistant Warden of Anti-Poaching at Ngiro-are Outpost. This area is a poaching hotspot, and heavily armed Cattle Rustlers often enter this part of the Triangle with stolen cattle.

Tunai is the Acting Assistant Warden at Oloololo Gate, which is a main entry point for tourists and also the main link between the Conservancy and the local communities bordering the reserve.
