We use photographs as evidence against poachers who have come into the reserve, and against cattle rustlers who have stolen cattle from communities bordering the Mara Triangle. Photographs also help when charging tour drivers who have broken park rules, making it easier to issue a fine and reduce animal harassment.

Rangers also take photographs of injured animals which can then be sent to the KWS vets so that they can assess how urgently treatment is needed.

Our cameras have been donated by generous supporters from around the world, and we currently have enough cameras for all of our patrol teams. Thank you.
