The rains continued throughout most of June, with steady, all-night drizzle on many occasions. 

The exceptionally heavy rains continued through most of May, compounding the damage that had been done in April and making a few sections virtually impassable. 

We had intermittent, and at times, heavy thunderstorms over the first week of April. 

The rains continued through the first week of March, with some heavy storms and prolonged showers. 

There were two days of rain on the 17/18th, just enough to settle the dust. 

For the most part January was dry, although we did have a few thunderstorms throughout the month. 

The rains started in earnest on the 9th, but the scattered thunderstorms in the first week of December were sufficient to send the wildebeest back into Tanzania. 

If we look further, we are going through a drought in many parts of the country; there is a maize shortage of ten million bags, cattle are dying in the thousands and a second pillar of our economy will suffer. 

October, was for the most part, dry, with a few isolated storms early in the month.  The

The month began with a hot, dry, spell in almost every part of the Park. 

President Uhuru Kenyatta visited the Mara Triangle on the 3rd.  He arrived in the morning and left after a late lunch. 

July was hot and sunny for most of the month, albeit very hazy as a result of fires in Tanzania. 

For the most part June was sunny, albeit with a smoke haze, from fires in Tanzania. 

The heavy storms continued through the first ten days of the month, before easing off for the remainder of the month – with glorious, sunny days and cold nights.

The rains continued with a vengeance at the beginning of April and continued for most of the month, causing a number of rivers to flood. 

There were one or two isolated storms throughout the month but, for the most part, March was characterised by hot, sunny days.  

February, for the most part was dry and hot (the hottest February in 30 years), although we had a few days of exceptionally heavy rain around the 20th.

Exceptionally heavy rainstorms in the first ten days of January did a great deal of damage to the roads, especially close to Oloololo Gate. 

A Mr Joseph Tipanko ole Karia submitted a petition to the Senate entitled “The financial mismanagement and irregularities in procurement by the County Government of Narok”. 

November was for the most part dry and sunny, with the rains only starting in earnest on the 26th.
